Moab, UT, June 29, 2000, Rebecca Wood, author of The Splendid Grain, winner of the James Beard and Julia Childs awards, will teach a cooking class on an August whitewater trip through Cataract Canyon on the Colorado River in Utah.
Wood is an advisor to Tag-A-Long Expeditions adding her expertise to the backcountry menus offered on their trips.This is the first time that she will teach guests how to prepare gourmet meals in a wilderness setting.
Tag-A-Long offers three, four and six-day raft trips through Cataract Canyon.Twenty-five named rapids and one hundred miles of wilderness comprise this river experience, considered the premier white water in Utah.
