Pastor Katie Wood

Pastor Wood is a native of Middle Georgia and has 10 years experience as a Youth Pastor in GA, NC, and FL.A 1993 graduate of Georgia College and State University and a 1996 graduate (Master of Divinity) of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary of Wake Forest, NC, Brandton moved into the senior pastorate as he and his family began Cross Pointe Community Church in Hudson, NH.Now, happy to be back in his home state, Brandton is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Cumming/Dawsonville/Dahlonega region through Barefoot Landing, the Church at North Forsyth.

Preschool Director, Katie Wood

A native of Hampton, NH, Katie Wood is a 1994 graduate of Wingate University (Wingate, NC).Later, Katie completed a Masters of Arts in Counseling with Southeastern Seminary in 1998.Having previously served as a youth intern in two churches in NC, Katie has not only provided outstanding support for her husband, she has also found great joy as the mother of two adventurous little girls.With a heart for preschoolers, Katie is excited about the opportunity to help shape the lives of 100's and 1000's of preschoolers through the preschool ministry of Barefoot Landing, the Church at North Forsyth.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Mt. Sinai AME Church, Mayesville, with the Rev. Alfred Bradley, pastor, assisted by Pastor Katie Wood.
