Wood Appointed to State UW Board

Joyce Wood of Trump Hotel Casino was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Indiana Association of United Ways. (IAUW) Locally, Wood serves as a member of the Lake Area United Way (LAUW) Board of Trustees, the allocations committee and the education and youth committee.Wood will serve as a liaison between the state association and LAUW bringing local issues and viewpoints to IAUW and likewise engaging LAUW in United Way statewide programs and activities.i be extremely honored to be elected to the Indiana Association of United Board of Directors, said Wood.I look forward to working with United Way on a statewide level. In order to keep members actively involved, Wood has been asked to choose a committee on which to serve.She opted to serve on the grants committee along with any other ad hoc committees as assigned.
