Joyce Wood came aboard as Associate Director with Discovery Theatre Lab in March, 2006.Joyce recently made her third appearance with Discovery Theatre Lab as The Spirit Of The Mirror in The Tower-Maiden's Daughter.Prior to that she portrayed Gertrude: Hamlet's Mother, and Oberon: The Fairy King in The Readiness Is All in 2002, and Vanhelsing in Discovery Theatre Lab's production of Dracula in 2003.

Joyce is an actor, director, and teacher.She trained at the American Conservatory Theater in California, and studied under Uta Hagen at H.B. Studios in New York.She has acted and directed at theatre programs all around the Pacific Northwest, including The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland Center Stage, Tacoma's Actor's Guild, Portland Repertory Theatre, Oregon Children's Theatre, and Lakewood Theatre Company.She has taught at Portland State University and Portland Community College, as well as Concordia and Marylhurst Universities.

Narrator Jasmine Lane and Avery Breyne-Cartwight are both from West Linn; Veteran actors John Morrison and Joyce Harris Wood completed the cast.
