Mr. Flossie Collins Wood

Mr. Wood and His wife Barbara purchased the Irwin Farm on Sand Bay Road in 1945 and a partnership was formed with their son's.In 1984, the farm was sold to their three sons.

Mr. Wood was elected assessor for the Town of Cape Vincent in 1983, and he was sole assessor for 18 years, retiring in September 2001.

Mr. Wood was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2148, in Rosiere for 68 years.He also enjoyed bowling and golfing.He also was an avid New York Yankees fan.
