Beth Wood (Executive Assistant)After appearing on the Cleveland Public Theatre stage for the past five years, Ms. Wood recently joined the CPT staff as Executive Assistant to the Executive Artistic Director.An actress and educator, she holds a BA in Communications and Theatre from John Carroll University.A former Actor-Teacher for Great Lakes Theater Festival, Ms. Wood now teaches a variety of theatre and acting courses at Lakeland Community College and The Beck Center.Beyond education and performance, she has also served as the Technical Director for John Carroll University, Lakeland Theatre, and Stagecrafters.

I really never thought i would be convinced by Elisa Wood (even though i think he is a great actor) as Frodo, but he ended up a great choice.He will need someone with a unusual look, and great chops.

Beth Wood (the Course Leader) currently splits her time between work as an associate of Four S devising and leading educational programmes and INSET work, and for the Harlequin where she runs an extensive outreach programme and is Director of ACT and the Harlequin Youth Theatre.In addition Beth works for Longmans publishing, writing drama activities for editions of Shakespeare.For twelve years Beth was Artistic Director of Theatre Exchange, one of the country's leading educational companies, devising regional outreach programmes and running the National Young Playwright's Festival.

Elizabeth Wood Elizabeth R. Wood has worked throughout the greater Cleveland area as a professional actor, educator, designer, technical director, and stage manager with theatres such as, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Cleveland Public Theatre, The Beck Center, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, and Lakeland Theatre.

She holds a BA in Communications and Theatre from John Carroll University.As a professional actor, Elizabeth is an Actor/Teacher with The Great Lakes Theatre Festival, where she travels throughout northeast Ohio teaching and performing classical plays for students.

As a core artist at Cleveland Public Theatre, she has performed in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzak), Mrs. Bob Cratchet's Wild Christmas Binge (Little Nell, etc.), and A Bright Room Called Day (Rosa Malek).

Capable actors Liz Conway, Elizabeth R. Wood, and Dan Kilbane are victimized by the dull script and leaden direction, as are any attendees who might wander in. Feminist theater deserves better fare than this.
