   With their wins, both Schwartz and Wood received bids to the Super National Hardcourts in Kalamazoo, Mich., this month. The top six players in both the boys and girls brackets also qualified.

   Wood said she expected to do well in the tournament. Judging by her scores, she met expectations. Wood played six matches during the tournament, winning by scores of 6-2, 6-1; 6-0, 6-0; 6-0, 6-1; 6-1, 6-1; 6-1, 6-3; and 6-3, 6-2 in the finals.
   
   "I just try to play my best and have fun," Wood said.
