Photo: Diana Wood.Precious Women founder and director Diana Wood has been married to Mick for twenty four years and they have five children.Diana is a founder Trustee of The Harvesters Trust and formed Precious Women in 2003.
Diana became a Christian in 1987 and has been involved in women's ministry since 1990.She began by organising coffee mornings as an outreach at her home where many women received Jesus as their personal Saviour.The coffee mornings evolved into Bible studies where many women deepened their faith.This grew still further and large groups of women would meet for meals in restaurants.These groups included many non-Christians who could mix freely with Christian women.
Diana undertook preaching and counselling courses under the leadership of Rob Whittaker who is now the principal of the Capernwray Bible School in the UK.

In 1997 Diana joined the board of Chorley Women's Aglow and served until 2001 in a variety of positions including secretary, treasurer and Vice-President.In 2001 God called Mick and Diana to St Annes on the Fylde coast in Lancashire.Diana was quickly given the task of co-ordinating large meetings for women of all denominations on the Fylde.
In 2003 Diana had a vision for Precious Women where women would be taught about everyday living and life skills from both a biblical perspective and Diana's own personal testimony.
Diana feels that after faithfully serving many others God has given her a vision for herself.
