Wood joined Woodcock Washburn in 2000 as an associate specializing in the areas of trademark and copyright law , software licensing , e-commerce and technology transactions.Prior to joining Woodcock Washburn , Derek was with another Philadelphia law firm where he concentrated his practice on all phases of trademark law , copyright law and complex technology transfer transactions.
Derek received his J.D. degree with Honors from Rutgers School of Law - Camden in 1998 and earned his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers College in New Brunswick , NJ.
Derek is a member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey , and is admitted to practice before the District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
