   Dr. David A. Wood is an evangelist, and is the founder of David Wood Ministries in Trenton, Georgia.
   
   His life ministry includes the founding of two aggressive, soul winning churches which were noted as the fastest growing churches in their states of South Carolina and Michigan, respectively.
   
   Dr. Wood entered evangelism in 1984, and has seen David Wood Ministries expand into six divisions. These divisions include local, national, and international crusades; the National and International Soul Winning Director's Institute; church growth products, campaign, books, and tapes; church capital fund programs and motivational speaking engagements; development of donor relations, local church support, direct mail solicitations, and foundation/corporation grants; and the North Georgia Retirment Community, including Woodhaven & Clara's Place, assisted living homes for senior adults.
   
   Dr. Wood founded the National Soul Winning Director's Institute (SWDI) in January 1998. The first SWDI session took place on January 14-16, 1998 in Westminster, Maryland.
   
   Now, after nearly six years, the 409 graduates from SWDI sessions in America alone have committed to train 68,138 soul winners in the next two years. The ministry has entered South Africa and a crusade and Int'l Soul Winning Director's Institute was completed with great success.
   
   Dr. Wood conducts one or two international crusades each year, and the ministry rejoices that nearly 30,000 have received Christ during crusades in the Philippines, Mexico, South Africa and Germany. One of his soul winning training programs, Operation GO, has been translated into Spanish, and 80 Spanish-speaking churches have already been equipped with videos, workbooks, and all support material at no charge.
   
   The focus of David Wood Ministries has always been on revival and soul winning. The ministry crusade theme, Revive US Again, has been designed around this focus, and the ministry hopes to reach even more for the Savior, as well as motivate more and more Christians to be burdened for more souls and to put "feet" to their convictions.
   
   David and June Wood have been in full-time Christian service since they married in 1962.

   Their younger son, David, Jr., is planting the Harbor Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Their eldest daughter, Faith, acts as the business manager and Jon is the ministry's printing director. Deborah is currently living in Virginia and is a school teacher.
   
   Dr. Wood preaches the Bible as GOD'S WORD, Jesus as THE ANSWER, and the local church as THE INSTRUMENT FOR EVANGELISM IN THIS DAY.

   David Wood graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1989 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has more than 12 years of Engineering experience with two Fortune 500 companies. This experience includes 7 years in various building construction, renovation, maintenance and property management positions. David was responsible for managing the sale and lease of several million dollars of real estate, as well as managing millions of dollars of facility renovations and capital projects.
   
   David has extensive experience in Environmental compliance, Health and Safety, Security and equipment design and maintenance. He has managed Phase I and II environmental audits, asbestos removal, underground storage tank removal and PCB management and disposal projects. He has hands-on experience in bridge deck restoration, building envelope restoration and waterproofing and basement waterproofing and foundation repair.
   
   In 2002, David completed "The Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Training Program" and started David Wood Engineering Ltd. to provide Home Inspection services. David has continued to develop his building science expertise, and now offers Home Energy Audits and Indoor Air Quality Investigations in addition to Home Inspection services.
