Tracy Wong
Tracy graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) in 1996.
She continued her science interest by completing the Respiratory Therapy Program in Kamloops, BC at the University College of the Cariboo in 1999.
For the next two years, Tracy worked clinically at Royal Columbian and St. Paul's Hospitals in the Intensive Care Cardiovascular Units, Wards, ER and the Pulmonary Function Lab.
She received her first introduction to research while working for the Lung Health Study at the BC Cancer Agency's Vancouver site.
After over a year and a half working in bronchoscopy and sputum induction, a move to Vancouver Island would see her return to clinical work for two years.
As of March 2004, Tracy has rejoined the Lung Health Study by heading the Victoria site and is also supplying support for research projects at Research and Academic Development.
