To help his clients with business process management and natural resource planning, Wong wanted to create intuitive visual aids and flowcharts.

Wong had an older version of Microsoft Visio®, but he needed something more current.
"I just couldn't justify the cost of the Visio® upgrade," he said."The draw function in Microsoft Office® was another option, but it was too limited for what I wanted to do."
Wong researched the Web and consulted reviews of different software drawing tools.

Since a picture is worth a thousand WORD®s, Wong could save time by also using SmartDraw to quickly paste images into any e-mail correspondence.
Wong was able to add real photos to his drawings, thanks to SmartDraw's ability to insert a photo with just one-click.
"This helps me add client and site-specific pictures into my drawings," said Wong."I don't know of any other software that lets you do this."
