As vice president , Technical Services , Ed Wong directs iAsiaWorks' data center operations throughout the Asia-Pacific region and in North America.Ed has more than 23 years of experience in data centers , networking , programming and management.Before joining iAsiaWorks , he was the North Asia General Manager for the Core Infrastructure organization at Electronic Data Services ( EDS ) , where he directed Web Hosting , Communications , Distributed System and Centralized System Services.In the U.S. , his broad range of experience with EDS ranged from database administrator and software engineer to senior technical consultant and technical management.Early in his career , Ed was a programmer with George Washington University and then General Electric.He has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland and did graduate work at George Washington University.Ed is based in Hong Kong and can be reached at edwong@hk.iasiaworks.com.
