Heinz Wolmerath played professionally in West Germany and then became a Referee in 1965.He has been a member of USSF since 1970 and officiated in the old ASL, NASL and MISL from 1973 to 1985.For the last 11 years, he has been an Assessor, Instructor and Coach/Mentor for MLS and USSF.His approach to refereeing is very simple.He believes in a no-nonsense style of officiating and in strong discipline on the field of play and the technical area.He believes in very good man-management skills ... and most of all in "PREVENTIVE MECHANICS".
