Naomi Wolf is two steps ahead of you.
...
Thankfully, Naomi Wolf is speaking out against these unconstitutional governmental changes.Wolf, author of The New York Times bestseller, "The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot," writes to us all a book of genuine concern, a book of asserted direction and, most importantly, a book that refreshes the founder's view of democracy so that we can claim the freedoms that are rightfully ours.
Wolf is well-known for her previous works regarding feminist topics, including the international bestseller "The Beauty Myth."She has also written on numerous other social issues, and since her most recent book's debut, you may have caught her on "The Colbert Report" or in a debate with Fox TV journalist John Kasich.
Wolf has been traveling all over the country to speak about her book regarding the destructive changes occurring in the U.S. today.Wolf is, to say the least, a dynamic woman.A Yale graduate and a former Rhodes Scholar, Wolf is to the point and incredibly quick at articulating her thoughts.Somehow between being an activist, a writer and a mother, she had time to toss a phone interview into her day.
"As a citizen and as a mom I felt that I couldn't not speak to what I saw as an emergency. The founders wanted us as citizens, just ordinary people, to speak up on behalf of liberty," she said.
...
"We can't veer into hyperbole, but there are clear parallels to those in the past," Wolf said."The definition I drew on, for using the term fascist, is the use of state terror against the individual in an effort to oppose democracy."
"We have legalized state torture, in the Military Previsions Act of 2006 where the president and his lawyers claim the right to hold any America citizen as an enemy combatant, held in a 10-by-12 foot cell," she said.
...
Prosecution is really critical," Wolf said."We are driving pressure on Congress by getting 3,000 lawyers and law professors to call for criminal investigations of the crimes of the administration."
Wolf is also the co-founder of the American Freedom campaign, an organization dedicated to change.Their Web site allows for easy membership and e-mail updates on current Congressional issues, offering a simple route to becoming active.
With an election around the corner, Wolf urges Americans to call for a transparent process, inviting international observers to come and take part in a movement for an accurate vote count.
Naomi Wolf may seem to you an extremist of sorts, but she isn't.When she speaks it is softly and when she writes it is within the context of concern. She is trying her hardest to salvage America from the sly corruption that it is intimately experiencing, within the walls of our White House and underneath the footing of our politicians. She is relentless in her fight to show us how to be the citizens our Founders wanted us to be.
Wolfe can sum up her goals very simply: "The fundamental change is internal.Revolution from within.
