WANTAGE, N.J. (AP) Wallace Wirths, a conservative commentator who donated 245 acres to create a Sussex County branch of Upsala College, has died.He was 80.
Wirths, who died Saturday from complications of a stroke he suffered in 1996, hosted the daily "Candidly Speaking" radio show on WSUS for many years.He also served as former Gov.

An Englewood native, Wirths was a Navy veteran who also was a public relations executive for Westinghouse for many years before retiring in 1979.
