David Wirth is the Assistant Director of the Academic ADL Co-Lab He earned a B.S. degree in Education through the UW-Madison School of Education. After graduating David taught for seven years in the Madison Metropolitan School District before becoming an instructional designer for the University of Wisconsin Extension. David has worked for the Academic ADL Co-Lab for over three years, but has been involved in the ADL SCORM initiative for five years and was the first official SCORM Auditor for ADL. read more »

David Wirth is the Acting Director of the Academic ADL Co-Lab He earned a B.S. degree in Education through the UW-Madison School of Education, taught fourth and fifth grade for seven years in the Madison Metropolitan School District.As part of his duties, David Wirth was charged with researching emerging software and technologies and instructing teachers in the use of those technologies, including Geographical Information System software, video editing software, HTML software, and "Red Rover" Mars pathfinder simulation software.David Wirth frequently presents on SCORM at distributed learning and continuing education conferences in the U.S. and abroad, including the E-Learning Summit in Sestri Levante, Italy.
