Following graduation, Greg commenced his 'working life' as an Audit Inspector with the Commonwealth Auditor General's Office in 1972.During this time Greg gained experience and knowledge in government financial and administrative systems.

In 1976 he was appointed as Senior Clerk Finance with the Dalby Town Council.In this position Greg was responsible for various financial activities of the Council.

A long association with the Gladstone City Council commenced with his appointment as Assistant Town Clerk in 1982 and subsequent appointment as Deputy Town Clerk in 1984.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting); Graduate Diploma in Management; Associate Diploma in Computing and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Responsibilities

In Greg's current position as Director- Corporate Services, he has responsibility for Council's information management, financial services, industrial relations and human resource advice, land dealings, property related matters, and general administration (including making of local laws and other legal matters).
