Michael Winsor (chairman and racing secretary), a former member of the Weybridge Wheelers, joined the club in 1987. Despite suffering periods of illness, he has shown great loyalty to Thornton RC and retains his ambition of seeing club membership grow. Since 1987, Heather Reeves, Peter Travis, and Ian Fowler have joined Michael in this ambition.
