Maryan Winsor:

Maryan came to Wilmington from New York State, following her husband George, who took a position as education professor at Wilmington College.She began her career teaching special education at Main Building in 1964.She moved to the role of principal at Martinsville in 1970 where she worked for two years before she came into town and served as principal at Smith Place.
