Cindy Winslow hired as diocesan controller
Cindy Winslow was hired as the diocesan controller and begins that work January 3.As controller, she will report to Jack Spaeth and will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations of the Diocese, including the insurance billing, and for managing the audit process.
Winslow earned a B.S.B.A. from Ohio Northern University.She is a CPA and a certified service provider for Blackbaud accounting systems.Winslow has worked for the Episcopal Diocese since 1999, at first on a contract basis when the Diocese installed Blackbaud as its accounting system.In January 2002 she began as a part-time staff member responsible for special accounting projects.Winslow has previous experience working as an auditor with a public accounting firm and as auditor for the Institute of Living and has also managed the financial reporting for the real estate investment department of an insurance company.
She is a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Avon.She is married and has two daughters.
