Bert Winans

Bert was born in Syracuse, NY on Tipperary Hill, where the green traffic light is on the top, not the bottom. His mother was born in County Kerry, Ireland and his father's family came to the US in the 1500s. He graduated from Syracuse University with a BA in Accounting. Previous to joining F&W he owned his own business, Winans and Associates, and was the VP and CFO of OK Industries International, and spent four years in the US Air Force. When he's not busy with numbers, he enjoys golf, motorcycling, and reading. He serves on the Select Board of Mendon, VT, and is a member of Rotary International and the Southwest Freedom Riders. He lives in Mendon, VT with his wife Anne Griffin, and their dogs: two Bichons Lacey and Trudy, and their Coton de Tulear, Cooper. He has three grown children, Ellen, Carolyn, and Caley.
