  Sheri Wilson-Gray is eyeing plenty of growth opportunities at Brown Shoe in St. Louis, where she has taken on the role of CMO.In her new post, she will head up strategic brand development and oversee communications, consumer research, pr and licensing.

  Wilson-Gray has an affinity for a quick turnaround in consumer data.At Brown Shoe, she'll get a strong data feed from the Famous Footwear retail unit in addition to the wholesale account information she'll have access to.Though she's still getting her bearings, she's already targeting Naturalizer, Carlos Santana and Via Spiga footwear for improvement."They have all the makings of great growth that positions them to be even better," she said.
