"The PTCC was formed to give almost anyone with late model car a chance to race, all cars must be street legal at all times," stated AMRS director Garry Willmington."For years and years people have always wanted the chance to go racing but haven't been able to afford to.With the PTCC it gives you an opportunity and now you don't need to go out and spends thousands upon thousands of dollars just to get out on the track."
Classes for the PTCC will be A, B and C that will include cars such as BMW's, Ford's, Holden's, Honda's, Alfa Romeo, Audi's, KIA, Lexus, Peugeot, Mazda and that is just scratching in terms of the cars that are permitted to compete.
"I cannot begin to explain how exciting the PTCC is going to be as the racing will be very close for the outright and class honours," Willmington enthused."The variety of cars is going to make the racing quite a spectacle and gives almost anyone the chance to race on a budget."
One of the first to join the PTCC is Garry Willmington's wife Natalie, who will campaign the # 6 V6 powered Mitsubishi Magna in Class B. Natalie is set to make her maiden foray into circuit racing after coming from a drag racing background.
