Thomas L. Wilmeth

Tom Willmeth will serve as guest speaker at the next open meeting of the Milwaukee Area Radio Enthusiasts (MARE) July 18 at 2 p.m. inside the lower-level Community Room G-110 at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Rd.

Willmeth - an Iowa native who serves as chairman of the English Department at Concordia University in Mequon - will discuss his broadcasting career.He worked in radio in the early 1970s and served as an engineer for Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion" - now heard on Wisconsin Public Radio.
