From 1987 to 1989, Reverend William D. Willis, a retired minister, served faithfully as the Interim Pastor for two years until the call of a new minister.In 1989, Reverand Casey Reginald Kimbrough's administration, a sincere effort was made to bring "togetherness" within the congregation.He conducted a Bible Study on Saturday mornings, focusing on "What Faith is All About."About 50 members attended the class.He held a one day "Retreat for Deacons and Trustees" at the Archway School facility in Atco, New Jersey and a dinner for Deacons, Deaconess, Trustees and their spouses.He had a special bond the youth of the church who were keenly saddened by his departure.
