"We're a full-service print and mail shop, and we provide everything from digital and offset printing to list management, data management, fulfillment, letter shop services, and back-end analysis of the response to the direct mail pieces," said Mark Willis, OneSource's founder. He will remain president as the firm becomes part of Call Solutions.

OneSource has 40 employees and runs a battery of Xerox digital printing equipment for both black-and-white and color production, as well as inkjet technology.Willis said the firm goes to a "partner chain" for offset printing.

"We do everything from very highly personalized one-to-one documents to mass direct mailings," he also noted.

While Willis may have never imagined his company as part of a firm specializing in telephone marketing strategies, his decision to sell brings OneSource a step closer than what he originally envisioned it to be.

From the start, said Willis, the goal for OneSource was to provide comprehensive marketing services, with printing being only one part of the program.

"Call Solutions closes the loop on services we were not able to provide. One of these was the call centers," he said."Call Solutions also has creative and design people, so now we can offer a full range of services on the marketing side."

OneSource and Call Solutions will cross-sell each other's services and share data for response analysis."The responses now will go through Call Solutions," Willis said."We take that data and do some analysis to see how the program did and who responded to plan for the next campaign."

The volume of work at OneSource is expected to rise not only because it has a new parent company, but because Willis' firm has also signed an important new client. In response, OneSource will be expanding its capabilities.

"We need more equipment, more hardware on the floor," Willis said."In October, we're planning to move to a bigger facility.Right now we're in about 30,000 sq. ft., and we'll be moving into 40,000 to 50,000 sq. ft." The new site also is in the Salt Lake City area."One of our newest customers is Sports Illustrated," he added."We'll be doing their printing for the Olympic Games."
