   December 7, 2006 - Denver, CO - The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA) officially appointed Jeff Willis as President during the organization's annual Installation and Recognition Dinner held at the Sewell Ballroom on December 6, 2006.Willis is a third generation real estate developer and home builder with 15 years of experience in home building, land acquisition and commercial development.He is currently a principal of Talavera Properties - a Denver-based real estate development company - and executive vice president of Berkeley Homes, a privately-held, mid-sized home builder in the metro Denver market.

   Prior to forming Talavera and joining Berkeley, Willis was vice president of Land Acquisition and Sales for Shea Homes' Colorado division.During his real estate career, Willis has also been actively involved in entitlements, water issues and metro district formation and funding.He is also the 2006 chairperson of the DIA Partnership.
