BOISE, Idaho - (Oct. 30, 2003) - Extended Systems (NASDAQ: XTND), a leading provider of mobile application solutions for the enterprise, has appointed David Willis to the position of Vice President of North American sales, effective immediately.
With a proven track record of performance results in rapidly changing, technology-based companies that compete in dynamic environments, Willis brings more than 20 years of senior level, strategic sales management experience to the Extended Systems executive team.He is charged with driving the company's North American Sales Team to increase revenue and market share throughout the Americas.

Prior to joining Extended Systems, Willis served as the Eastern Regional Manager for Right Now Technologies, a leading customer service and support solutions company, where he exceeded quota for the region and refocused the sales team on winning strategic, enterprise accounts.Before joining Right Now, Willis served in several senior sales positions including Vice President of Sales for Buena Vista Software, a test tools company; Vice President of the Western Region for eGain Communications, a world-leader in web-based enterprise software solutions, where he focused on reaching revenue goals through fortune 1000 accounts; and Vice President of Sales for Interlink Computer Technologies.
