Mr. David Willis - Non-Executive

Mr. Willis worked for 15 years at Shell, primarily in retail, marketing and corporate planning.Since 1980, he has founded, built and sold several technology based businesses, including Micrelec and BusinessNet, and has served in senior management positions at Arciris and Torex Retail PLC until July 2005.

Mr. Willis is a fellow of the British Institute of Management and the Institute of Energy in London, and a member of the Institute of Directors.

The founder of Micrelec Group PLC and former managing director of Arciris Ltd, David has been appointed chairman of Indigo Retail Holdings.David has been in the retail solutions business since he left Shell in 1980, most recently as the chairman of the Petroleum & Convenience Division of Torex Retail.

David joined Arciris in January 1997, shortly after the completion of the Management Buy Out from The Harpur Group.David brings a wealth of both business and industry experience to the Company, having formed Micrelec in 1980, he then floated this on the London Stock Exchange in 1988.In 1992, Meggitt PLC acquired the Micrelec Group and David became Deputy Chairman of Meggitt Petroleum Systems.

In 1995, he resigned to form International Petroleum Network (IPN), of which he is Chairman and Business Net, an Internet solutions provider serving the financial community in the City of London, which was acquired by Level 3 Communications Inc in 1999.David is also the Chairman of three other technology companies as well as being a visiting lecturer at the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Oxford.
