   David Willis focuses his practice on construction and commercial litigation.He represents a variety of owners, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers as well as design professionals in all aspects of the construction process from project design, contract negotiation, construction administration through final close out.David has tried and arbitrated a variety of construction disputes including design and construction defects, construction liens, and delay claims.Outside the courtroom, he has lectured on the Florida Construction Lien Law and spoken at seminars on Architect/Engineer liability.
   
   As part of his practice, David also represents individuals and businesses in a variety of disputes including those involving copyrights and trademarks, internet and computers, contracts, real estate and non-compete agreements.In conjunction with his litigation practice, he also handles appellate matters.
   
   David is Florida Bar Board Certified in both Business Litigation and Construction Law.He currently serves on the Florida Bar Business Litigation Certification Committee.The committee is responsible for reviewing certification applications and preparing the certification examination.David serves on the Orlando Regional Advisory Committee for the Associated General Contractors of Greater Florida.In addition, he serves on the Business Law Committee and has served on the Technology Subcommittee for the Orange County Bar Association.David currently serves the community as a member of the Edgewood City Council.
