After much prayer, discussion, checking references, and listening to feedback, the Board unanimously decided to extend a call to Dr. David Willis to become Living Faith's next President.Throughout the selection process there was a clear sense of God's leading as well as a sense of affinity with David's passion, humility, and vision. We sincerely believe that Dr. Willis is God's choice.Equally sensing God's leading, David has accepted this call effective April 1, 2007.He will be commuting between Victoria and the campus in Caroline until he and his family are able to move permanently in July. David is not new to Living Faith; he taught at LFBC in the early 1990's while pastoring in Sundre. He is well-qualified educationally with an extensive ministry background. In addition to good success in the pastorate, he founded Trinity Christian College while on the mission field in Hyderabad, India. This college grew to more than 100 students and was instrumental in planting 110 churches in the Province of Andhra Pradesh.During this time, he developed 50 courses on a variety of Bible and ministry related topics. The college continues to this day under the leadership of nationals that he trained.David deeply loves the Lord, is a passionate communicator, and is a good team leader.
