School Superintendent Fred Marion said Lee County School Board Chairman Bill Willis brought the matter to the board's attention at a March 25 recessed meeting during closed session, and at that time Marion was instructed to investigate the matter.

JONESVILLE - After being nominated by outgoing Chairman Cecil Sumpter, outgoing Vice Chair Bill Willis was unanimously named chairman of the Lee County School Board Monday during the board's annual reorganizational meeting.
