IRVINE, CA, February 20, 2007 - Startel Corporation, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc. (OTC:CMVT.PK) and a leading provider of Call Center Solutions to the TAS, Health Care and Higher Education markets today announced several management changes including the retirement of Barbara Willis, Vice President of Sales.

Barbara Willis joined Startel in 1982 just after the company was founded by Don Berry, Ken Allen and George Smith.

Barb brought to Startel Corporation her knowledge and experience in the TAS industry.She has served in many sales and marketing capacities from contributing to the early functional designs of the Startel platforms, to building and leading the sales organization with a consistent focus on the customer's needs.
