Edna Willingham was named Director, Medical Management in 2001.She reports directly to the Vice President, Medical Management, Jamie Patterson.

Edna is responsible for all medical management activities including but not limited to Utilization management, Case Management (Inpatient and Ambulatory), Disease Management and Appeals.Her staff consists of 58 individuals located in Memphis and Jackson TN.

Edna joined Memphis Managed Care Corporation in 1994 as Manager of Quality Improvement and Utilization Management.

Previously, Edna served with Mid South Foundation for Medical Care, Inc., the Tennessee Peer Review Organization (PRO) for 10 years as the Director, of Review Services.She was responsible for all review operations across the State of Tennessee.

Edna received her license in Nursing in 1978, and the Managed Healthcare Professional designation in 2000.She has over 20 years of experience in Utilization Management and Quality Improvement.
