Davy Willingham

Davy Willingham played four years of varsity football at Plainview and earned time in the starting line-up at tailback and outside linebacker.He played against Fort Payne in 1983 and 1984.

According to Willingham, the Fort Payne fans unwittingly gave the Bears an assist.He said some of the Wildcat supporters tried to harass the Bears during pre-game activities.

"It kind of got us ready to play," he said.
