Darren has been working at Hull School of Art and Design as a technical learning advisor for the past three years.

He studied theatre technology at Hull College where he gained a Foundation Degree.He is responsible for the day to day upkeep of the college's Riverside Theatre and works to support the college's diverse program of student based and professional companies.His major role is to work as part of the technical theatre department as a learning advisor assisting students in developing vocational skills and preparing them for this diverse industry.His major areas of expertise are in lighting and stage management.
