Breea C. Willingham was most recently a reporter for the Albany, New York Times Union, where she covered Schenectady County Courts, the town of Niskayuna, and race and ethnicity issues.Her story on single black women who can't find compatible black men was recently nominated for best feature story in the Hearst quarterly contest.She previously covered education for the Rochester, NY Democrat and Chronicle, The Greenville News in South Carolina and police and courts for the News & Record in Greensboro, North Carolina.She was a Fellow in 2004 at a Race and Ethnicity seminar at the Knight Center for Specialized Journalism and a Fellow in 2001 and 2002 at seminars at the Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media.She has a master's degree in business management from Webster University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.She used her time to produce articles for USA Today, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle and the Albany Times Union."
