Robinson, FACHE, Chief Executive Officer of JFK Medical Center (JFK) and Jan Robinson Willinger, founder of Audio Visual Medical Marketing (AV/MD), have both been elected to its 2003 Board of Directors.

Willinger founded MD Direct, MD Publications, Clinquest and AV/MD International.Prior to AV/MD, Willinger was president of August Films, Inc., which produced documentary, industrial and training films.

Willinger attended Carnegie Mellon University and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.She resides in Palm Beach, Florida and Bridgehampton, New York.Willinger was President of Ballet Florida for three years.Currently, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Montgomery Armory Art Center, Hospice of the Palm Beaches Board and The Retreat in East Hampton.

Jan Robinson Willinger has started numerous businesses and built them into successful and diversified companies.She founded AVMD in 1976, an agency devoted to professional medical education, marketing, communications, and sales promotion.

Over the next fifteen years, Ms. Willinger, as President, engineered an aggressive growth strategy, responding to changes in the burgeoning pharmaceutical industry and built AVMD into a leading health care communications company with several major divisions.These included AVMD Publications which focused on scientific and clinical papers for professional audiences; MD Direct, a direct consumer marketing division; The Physicians Movie Club which concentrated on sales promotion of ethical and proprietary drugs and Cliniquest - a phase IV Marketing group.

During the years of its operation, AVMD amassed a client list that included nearly every international pharmaceutical manufacturer.In 1990, when she sold the company to The Carlson Companies in Minneapolis, Minnesota, AVMD's domestic volume was in excess of $50,000,000.An international division, founded in 1989 with sales of $3,000,000 was sold to Blackwell Scientific Publishing, U.K. in 1992.In addition she established a full service advertising agency Hudson Healthcare Communications, Inc.

Prior to starting AVMD, Ms. Willinger was Vice President of August Films, Inc., which produced industrial and sales training films.
