Aloysius J. Willinger

Born in Visalia, Msgr. was ordained a priest in the former Diocese of Monterey~Fresno now The Diocese of Fresno on April 29, 1967 by Bishop Aloysius J. Willinger.In his priestly ministry he has served parishes in Fresno, Reedley, Visalia, as well as in various ministry offices of the Diocese.

It certainly was not a matter of local concern when the aging Bishop Aloysius Willinger submitted his resignation from the See of Monterey- Fresno, nor when the Apostolic Delegate announced the division of the territory into the diocese of Monterey and that of Fresno.
