Forbes Public School principal John Willing said the project was possible due to mammoth fundraising efforts by the school community over several years.
"The foresight of parents and their representative body, the Forbes P and C, in supporting this exciting project and the superlative efforts of school staff in facilitating and leading Forbes' own digital revolution has its own rewards when we see our students so actively engaged in their learning," Mr Willing said.
"Forbes Public School continues to be at the cutting edge in engaging their students in learning through ICT," he said.
Mr Willing said Education week was a fitting time to launch the Engage to Accelerate, or E to A project.
"E to A is all about greater engagement of our students in their learning with resultant acceleration of student learning outcomes," he said.
The project is a direct result of Mr Willing's visit to North America last year.
It will include training for staff and the further provision of supportive hardware.
The project has been supported by technicians from the NSW Department of Education and will be enhanced with resources from the department's ‘Connected Classrooms' project.
"We expect to have further resources installed within the next few weeks including a video conference facility and further interactive whiteboard resources," Mr Willing said last Tuesday morning.

"The E to A project has involved an enormous commitment, including provision over two years of $150,000 by the Forbes Public School community, but one that from today will reap exceptional rewards," Mr Willing said.
