1) Buildings & Grounds Subcommittee: Mr. Willig reported that the subcommittee had met earlier in the evening and had discussed the repair/replacement of the Mt. Everett/UME fire alarm system at length. He said that there was still a question as to whether it is necessary to have an engineering study done before putting the work out to bid.

Following additional discussion, Mr. Willig moved that if it is determined that the engineering study is really a requirement, to authorize expending approximately $10,000 to study the system as it exists today and put out specifications for the retrofit to bring the system into compliance with fire code.

Mr. Willig also reported that the members of the Subcommittee had unanimously agreed to seek the Committee's support to continue plans to hook up the Mt. Everett/Undermountain Campus to the Sheffield Water Company.
