    The redevelopment is a work in progress and officials would not disclose the potential cost but current plans call for a 2,000-car parking deck, covered guest drop-off area attached to the Civic Center and an addition to the 38-year-old building that would include additional restrooms, restaurants and other amenities, said John A. Willig, senior vice president with Ackerman & Co.

    The hope, said Willig, is that the project would create an identity for the neighborhood between Midtown and downtown, which suffers from a lack of trendy restaurants and other amenities.
