Ruben E. Williford of Marshall County

Longtime Marshall County Farm Bureau member and director Ruben E. Williford died Jan. 15 in Madill.He was 85.

He was a member of the Marshall County Farm Bureau 34 years and served as president of the board of directors for 18 years.He also was instrumental in getting rural electric and water to the farming community in Marshall County, and served on the county's Rural Water Board since 1981 and was its president for 15 consecutive years.

Williford was a lifelong resident of the Lebanon area, where he was a farmer and rancher and a mineral broker.
