Community Foundation Welcomes Williford to Staff

Frederick, Maryland; May 24, 2004: The Community Foundation of Frederick County, MD, Inc. announces the addition of Nancy Williford of Walkersville to the staff.

As Accounting/Technology Assistant, Mrs. Williford assists the Chief Financial Officer in day-to-day operations centering on accounting, record keeping, data entry, secretarial responsibilities as well as computer system and office equipment maintenance.Mrs. Williford has a degree in biology and has worked in various biotechnology labs.In addition, Mrs. Williford has taken accounting classes."I am honored and excited to be a part of an organization that benefits the community in such a profound way," states Mrs. Williford.

Mrs. Williford joins Elizabeth Y. Day, President, Gail Fitzgerald, Chief Financial Officer, Linda Smiroldo Checchia, Public Relations Director, Tonyia Miller, Administrative Assistant to the President, and Joanne Byrd, Public Relations Administrative Assistant, in accomplishing the Community Foundation's work.
