John was born in Berkeley and grew up in El Cerrito.John's first instrument was the guitar , and later he took up the bass.John has played either guitar or bass for numerous bands.He joined Spikedrivers in 1994 as a bassist.John's musical influences vary from B.B. King and Albert King to Lawrence Welk and Pavarotti ( that tenor guy ).John hopes to embark on a new career as either a brain surgeon or a shuttle pilot.He is currently employed as a construction worker.
