Dan began his career as a financial consultant with North Star Resource Group in 2000, in the Minneapolis, Minnesota corporate headquarters.
For the first four years of Dan's career, he specialized in teaching financial concepts and implementing financial plans for medical professionals around much of the country.
He began many of his relationships through public speaking engagements at teaching hospitals around the Midwest.
As a result of Dan's success and dedicated service, in only his third year in the career he was recognized by, and granted membership to, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) - the premier financial professionals organization which represents the top 7% of financial professionals in the world.

Dan grew up in the small, northern Minnesota town of Carlton (and still visits there often).
He attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, where he studied finance and organizational management, and was the captain of the football team.
In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, volunteering, working, and working out.
