Brian Willie to Serve Another Term on the Service Provider Council for the National Submetering and Utility Allocation Association
IRVINE, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 22, 2006 -- NWP Services Corporation (NWP) today announced that the company's Regulatory and Legislative Affairs Counsel, Brian Willie, has been elected to serve another term on the Service Provider Council for the National Submetering and Utility Allocation Association (NSUAA).
A NWP regulatory department staff member since 1998, Willie has also been an active participant in the NSUAA since its inception, most recently serving as Co-Chair of the Regulatory and Legislative Committee.Willie historically has been the lead author of the NSUAA's regulatory manual provided to its members.
Willie has also been an expert witness and lobbyist attending legislative meetings and regulatory hearings at both the state and local level on behalf of both the NSUAA and NWP.He has also been successful in gaining industry favorable legislation and regulations and in limiting harmful legislation or regulations in more than a dozen states including Arizona, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Willie is active participant on behalf of the industry as a panel member expert and as a speaker at various apartment association forums and conferences on the topic of utility billing programs in the multi-family industry.
As a NSUAA board member Willie will continue to be involved in strategic planning for the Association, and in helping the NSUAA to better identify and meet the regulatory and legislative needs of the multi-housing community.
