Bob Willie

Local radio station WKAI aired Bushnell-Prairie City games and broadcaster Bob Willie became familiar with Derry's work.He offered the young teacher a job, and in 1969 Derry went on the air as the sports director for WKAI-FM.He later became the sports director for WLRB-AM and WLMD-FM.
