Yolanda WilliamsonLeadership Coach, MemphisYolanda provides support to New Leaders in Memphis to ensure success during their Residency year.During her tenure as a principal in Memphis City Schools, she created and implemented a successful school-wide discipline plan, an extensive arts program, and used parental involvement to help students make academic gains, all of which resulted in a major shift in the culture of her school and a significant increase in student achievement.Yolanda graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in education and also holds a master's degree in administration and supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University.She accepted with alacrity the opportunity to help New Leaders for New Schools coach Residents to meet the needs of the diverse population in the Memphis community.
